/There was a lot going on in 2023
Anais Mitchell’s Hadestown celebrated its 1000th performance on Broadway in March. The show continues packing out the Walter Kerr Theatre on Broadway, as well as the national tour across the US and Canada. Hadestown also opens in London's West End in February 2024. Meanwhile Anais herself was busy with touring and making a new Bonny Light Horseman record which comes out next year. Fresh off the back of an extensive UK & Irish tour with Gabrielle, Wallis Bird is busy writing for her next record. Her year was full of solo shows, band shows, collaborative shows, orchestral shows and of course the debut of Visions of Venus together with Spark. Mine not only had a busy year touring and playing packed out Orchestral shows, but she also announced her new record "Baum" along with a tour for 2024, stay tuned! Konstantin Gropper aka Get Well Soon was quietly flat-out working on Netflix TV series' like King Of Stonks and Steiner & Madlaina blasted us with a new album and extensive tour. We also had the debut of Irish artist Honas who released his single "Everyday Life" to great praise, more great things to follow in 2024 as a result of his work with Inner Tongue. Finally, Hundreds arrived back to Europe safely after their first Australian tours, as well as some new music in 2023 and an electrifying German tour.
We hope you join us for another year of great music and inspiring artists in 2024, but for now cheers from all of us at Karakter Management.
